| WHAT DOES MALACOLOGIA PUBLISH?
Refer to the Instructions for Authors for more details. Malacologia publishes papers on all groups of the Mollusca. Malacologia specializes in publishing long papers and monographic treatments. Complete data are especially appreciated. Papers must be of interest to an international readership. Papers in systematics, ecology, population ecology, genetics, molecular genetics, evolution and phylogenetic treatments are especially welcomed. Also welcomed are letters to the editor involving papers published or issues of import to science of the day. |

HOW OFTEN IS MALACOLOGIA PUBLISHED? Malacologia publishes on an irregular basis. Malacologia publishes a volume or more each year with a volume averaging about 400 pages. A volume may be one issue or be divided into two numbers. There is thus no backlog of papers. |

Malacologia is published by the Institute of Malacology (IM). The IM is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated in the state of Michigan, the sponsor members of which are listed under the masthead (see Masthead). The IM meets once each year for the purpose of business and governance of the journal, to select new members to the editorial board and to evaluate journal policies and performance. |
